I've always had this problem with my lips. They aren't dry, they never get chapped, but they have a lot of wrinkles in them (I'm only 38, by the way), and even when I exfoliate them and moisturize them, they feel pruny! That's the only way I can describe them. I just tried this trick where you brush them with a toothbrush, stick a piece of Scotch tape on them to pull off more dead skin, and then put moisurizer on them, and they STILL feel pruny and wrinkly! In fact the longer they are moisturized, the more wrinkly they feel. They are NEVER smooth, they weren't even back in my 20's. So it isn't my age or my diet (which is pretty healthy, by the way). All I drink is water (almost all day I have water near me), I have never smoked, and I don't spend a lot of time in the sun, hardly any, in fact. I have tried dozens of lip products and they all make my lips scratchy feeling rather than smooth. Is there anything else I can try, without having to get lip injections?

Dry lips always chapped in most of the cases, drink a lot of water as you could drink. and use cream at night before sleeping, it keep your lips soft or smooth. and remove the dead skin time to time.

Avoid using lipsticks that can dry out your lips too.
