Hey - new here and I see that this post hasn't had recent action but I wondered if people had tried new things and found great results? I have dry skin myself and am always looking for ways to improve it.

Could there be anything better and simpler than the use of petroleum jelly on your face before you take a bath? It is what I can recommend best!

Well, oranges are best for skin. This is the fruit that can help you achieve smoother skin and a good tonic. It is a rich source of vitamin C and helps boost the body water content. Eat oranges regularly and see the great effect on a couple of weeks. Berries can help to maintain a pH factor of the skin and prevent the acid reaction. They also help keep skin fresh and clean.

My best skin care tips includes doing facial once in a week along with a rose water. This works pretty well in any environment and season. ---------------------------------------- beauty gift vouchers

Good skin is important for a variety of reasons. From a biological perspective, skin is an indicator of right health. And for better or for worse, skin is also judged in society for beauty reasons. Skin is touched up in magazine layouts, airbrushed on posters, and made as flawless as possible through the lenses of movie cameras. But you don’t need full-on professional beauty experts to have nice looking skin. Luckily, there ar tips and tricks that you can use to firm and tone your skin so that both your wellness and confidence can get a boost. Skin is the largest organ of the body and it also has the distinction of being an organ that is open to the outside world. So while your skin protects your insides, it is up to you to protect your skin. The first step you should take is to limit your exposure to the harmful rays of the sun. If you have to go outside, then be sure to protect your skin from UV rays with a good sunscreen. The sun not only dries the skin, it can also lead to unsightly moles and much worse – cancer. Another important factor in skin care is drinking adequate amounts of water. The body uses a lot of water for its daily function and in cases where there isn’t enough water intake, the skin can be the first to suffer. Water helps to keep skin supple and smooth, and more significantly it is the fuel that allows the body to function as a whole. Ironically, exposure to water externally can be damaging. To keep skin moist and healthy, hot and frequent showers should be avoided. Also take care to pat dry yourself rather than rub. Choose a soap that is non-abrasive and non-alcohol based. Moisturizing creams are abundant and the right one for your skin type can be found with trial and error. But the more expensive ones ar non always better so be aware of hidden ingredients that may really aggravate your skin.
