Do you have tips on how to get rid of stretch marks?  3 months after giving birth, they’re still dark so I’m not able to wear my favorite shirts again.  I also heard that cocoa butter is effective to lighten up the color of the marks?  Is this true?

Cocoa butter is effective if applied during pregnancy.  You can ask your dermatologist about products like renova.  Very effective on stretch marks, brown spots, wrinkles, etc.  They’re available in any local or online pharmacy out there.  If you want, you can also just wait for time to make them fade away!  Hope this helps!

The dermatologists can answer your question. There is no proven way to get rid of stretchmarks. Some companies offer lotions and other solutions that can help lighten or fade the stretchmarks. So I would suggest visit a dermatologist to give an advice. Good Luck!

This is the first time I heard about using olive oil.

I have stretch marks and I would love for them to get better, I got them from losing weight and I haven't even had baby and I am experiencing many stretch marks.

I'm getting married early next year and I would love for this to be lighten.

I'm going to take a research for inexpensive remedies for this.

Your diet can also help reduce your stretch marks. Eating food high in zinc and silica will help with your collagen formation. Also, eating foods with essential fatty acids, such as certain vegetables and fish oils, help form cell walls. Eating foods high in vitamins A, C, and E will also help.

I have strectch marks from pregnancy too and even though I used cocoa butter during pregnancy, they are still here. I am hoping they will fade in time!

I had stretch marks with both my pregnancies, but found that they faded a bit with time, however I am now pregnant again and they have returned with a vengeance.
